Tihomir is a senior banking executive with over 20 years of experience in Asset Liability Management, total bank management and balance sheet risk across CEE financial institutions. He currently leads the ALM function at Hrvatska Poštanska Banka, with end-to-end responsibility for liquidity, IRRBB, funding, FTP and total bank steering for a multi- billion-euro balance sheet.

His earlier career includes senior ALM and market risk roles at Hypo Alpe-Adria-Bank, Erste & Steiermärkische Bank and HVB. He has first- hand experience managing through major liquidity crises and bank resolutions, alongside leading the ALM workstream for Croatia’s euro adoption in 2023.

Tihomir is a recognised speaker and moderator at European industry forums, having presented on ALM, liquidity, IRRBB, FTP and EU banking regulation at conferences in Vienna, Frankfurt, London, Amsterdam, Warsaw, Sarajevo, Skopje and Zagreb (Fleming, Marcus Evans and others).

He holds a Master’s Degree in Finance from the University of Zagreb.
